Precision Laser Cutting with Dual High-Powered Fiber Lasers
Within our Tennessee manufacturing facility, we have two high-powered fiber lasers that we use to cut sheet metal accurately and quickly.
Laser Cutter #1: Volume Production with Power & Precision
Our 8,000-watt TRUMPF L3030 fiber laser is the most powerful of our machines and can cut 20-gauge stainless steel at 1,000 inches per minute without losing tolerances.
With its power and speed, we rely on this machine for high-volume precision laser cutting projects, cutting through thicker sheet metal, and manufacturing parts from reflective materials like copper.
Laser Cutter #2: Expanded Capacity for Faster Turnaround Times
The second laser cutter in our pair is a 4,000-watt TRUMPF L3030 fiber laser. While not as powerful as our other laser cutter, it can still cut through the same materials as its high-intensity counterpart, albeit not quite as quickly.
However, with this second machine, we’ve been able to expand our capacity and provide fast turnaround times on a greater number and wider variety of projects. Whether it’s manufacturing precision parts with laser-cut features or creating intricate parts for complex assemblies, with dual laser cutters at our disposal, there’s never a delay due to lack of capacity.
Materials for Any Sheet Metal Fabrication Project
With our high-powered fiber laser cutters, we’re able to take on the tough precision laser cutting jobs that smaller sheet metal fabrication shops simply don’t have the equipment to handle. Our laser cutters can accommodate sheet sizes up to 60” x 120” and are powerful enough to cut through most common metals, including:
Aluminum: Up to 1″
Carbon steel: Up to 1″
Stainless steel: Up to 1″
Copper: Up to 5/16”
Brass: Up to 1/4″
While our lasers are capable of cutting one-inch steel plate, we generally only do this as part of a larger fabrication project to make this cost-effective — but if you need it done, we’re up to the task.
